What I do

MASSAGE & SOUND THERAPY

Welcome! I’m glad you’ve arrived.

With over a decade of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist, I’ve seen how profoundly the nervous system influences how we experience our bodies and interact in the world. I’m passionate about helping others integrate nervous system work into their wellness toolkit.

You’re invited to explore this work with me through Polyvagal-informed massage therapy, combined with the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) or the Rest and Restore Protocol™ (RRP). Together, we’ll help you reconnect with your body’s calm aliveness and strengthen the foundations of your health and vitality.

Regulate and educate your nervous system

5-Hour Listening Therapy: Safe and Sound // Rest and Restore™ Protocols

What happens when our nervous system becomes dysregulated? A potential cascade of health issues ranging from muscle bracing patterns leading to chronic pain, hypersensitivities to stimuli, brain fog or difficulty concentrating, mood swings, decreased ability to respond to and recover from stress, depressed immunological functions, disrupted sleep, digestive issues, and more. We cannot think our way out of these internal states, but innovative listening therapies such as the Safe and Sound Protocol and Rest and Restore Protocol™ (RRP) offer us a bottom-up approach to regulating our nervous system that has the potential to increase our vagal tone and, in doing so, decrease our symptoms and increase our resilience and recovery so we can better respond to the stresses of daily life. Combine these research-backed therapies with massage and you have a powerful tool for stress relief, regulation, felt safety and, as a result, optimal health.

In-Home Therapeutic Massage

Massage is far more than a feel-good experience. It’s also a proven way to engage the nervous system in the benefits of co-regulation and support whole-body health. I provide in-home Polyvagal-informed therapeutic massage alongside the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and the Rest and Restore Protocol™ (RRP). Research shows that therapeutic touch can help regulate the autonomic nervous system, reduce stress hormones, improve circulation, and promote recovery. The combination of therapeutic touch with therapeutic sound provides a valuable experience of a foundational embodiment that sets the stage for deeper resilience, recovery, rest, and healing.

Tend to your nervous system through sound and touch, where massage meets science-backed listening to restore calm, connection, and a sense of renewal.

Safe and Sound Protocol

The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a 5-hour, app-based listening therapy designed to gently support nervous system regulation. Backed by research in Polyvagal Theory, the SSP uses algorithmically filtered music to stimulate the vagus nerve and train the nervous system to potentially reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, enhance social connection, and support overall well-being. By fostering a balanced nervous system, the Safe and Sound Protocol helps you engage with the world with greater ease and resilience.

Rest and Restore Protocol™

The Rest and Restore Protocol™ (RRP) is a 5-hour, app-based listening therapy featuring Sonocea® Enhanced—an innovative, patent-pending sound technology that helps reestablish the body’s natural biorhythms. This “first of its kind” approach shows promise in improving sleep, digestion, mood, and overall recovery. Its precisely engineered acoustic signals and music promote deep relaxation and support the body’s innate capacity to heal and restore balance.

Massage Therapy

Polyvagal-informed, therapeutic massage designed to support your body both during your sound therapy journey and afterward. But what does “Polyvagal-informed” mean in the context of massage? It means this is a safe, supportive, and nourishing session that tunes into your nervous system’s needs that day, helping you feel more grounded, regulated, and connected in your body. Every touch is guided by an understanding of how your nervous system responds, so the session works with your body rather than against it.

FAQs

Why should I care about my nervous system?

Your nervous system deeply influences how you move through the world and getting to know it may crack open an entirely new understanding of your health, well-being, and habits. Learn more here.

Which program should I choose?

If it’s not clear which program might be most suitable for you, schedule a free 15-min discovery call with me. We can discuss your goals and history to determine which therapy might best meet your current needs or interests.

What ages do you work with?

At present, I work exclusively with adults 18 years of age and older. If you would like to find a provider for your child or teen, you can find a list here.

What commitment is required?

Most importantly, a level of open-minded curiosity and willingness to engage regularly with the listening and how it lands in your body will be most helpful.

Though both protocols are 5 hours in length, it may take you anywhere from a few weeks to several months to complete them fully. Consider setting aside 1-15 minutes every other day, for example, but the ultimate duration and timing of your listening will change based on your body’s response. Everyone is different and we will not know until we start.

What results can I expect?

Our nervous systems are like our fingerprints. No two will be exactly the same. Because of this, it is impossible to predict how your body will respond to the sound and what benefits you will derive from it. What I can guarantee is that you will have given it the experience of moving toward greater and more consistent regulation and you will have learned something very new about yourself.

What is your refund policy?

A pro-rated refund is available at any time during the program.

Do you accept massage-only clients?

I am not currently accepting any new massage-only clients but if you would like to be on my waitlist, feel free to send me a message.

Are there any risks?

Especially if paced too quickly, some people may notice temporary changes in their body or energy as they adjust to the listening therapy, such as tinnitus, fatigue, sleep disruptions, gastrointestinal shifts, headaches, or a general increase in symptoms. This is why I recommend the Co-Regulated Connection option, so we can pace your listening in a way that feels safe and supportive, and respond gently to any changes that come up. It’s all part of honoring your body’s process and listening to what it needs.

I’m ready! Where do I sign?

Send me a message and we can get started scheduling your onboarding session.
